rain garden LANDSCAPE DESIGN

In 2020, we were contracted for a multi-year landscape design renovation project for a Demarest home. The installation is ongoing and this portion of the project was completed in 2023.

The homeowners had experienced flooding in their basement and garden areas that were extremely wet and unusable after any rain storm. Over the years, they had consulted many different contractors who proposed various solutions but none were guaranteed and all were quite expensive (over 10K).

We proposed installing a rain garden which resolved the problem they’d been experiencing for ten years. A simple, cost effective solution that works within nature. Our design features deer resistant perennials. The garden features Native plants and water loving varieties. The end result was beautiful and functional, the homeowners are ecstatic!
