Client Testimonial: Trinity Church
We are super excited about our first video client testimonial with Reverend Willie Smith of Trinity Episcopal Church, located in Cliffside Park, NJ! One of the most rewarding things about our business is the difference our work makes in people's lives. Trinity is a Blossoming Beginnings landscape maintenance and Audio Visual client. Upon our first meeting with Reverend Willie, he tasked us with beautifying the grounds as an evangelical tool. Over the four years of our partnership, we have installed garden beds around the property, provided indoor Trees inspired by Prince Charles' wedding, installed a seven circuit labyrinth and replaced their audio system.
Labyrinth Design & Installation
By far, our favorite project was the labyrinth because it's a unique landscape element with a rich history dating back to Roman times. All labyrinth installations are challenging because they require site excavation, leveling and expert masonry work to accurately install the labyrinth to specifications of the desired pattern. In addition to this, we installed sod in the surrounding area, replaced the sidewalk, installed five garden beds and an irrigation system. Materials included 800 sq. ft. of Cambridge Renaissance Tumbled Pavers, 3,000 square feet of sod, 50 perennials and 11 trees. A Nor'easter hit right in the middle of the project which increased the challenges but made the finished result doubly rewarding. We're so pleased that the labyrinth installation has made a significant impact on the community and church fellows.
Our relationship with Trinity is the type of partnership that we build with our clients, using horticultural best practices to implement the client's vision and a commitment to service and landscape excellence. Future enhancements include the installation of vines behind the labyrinth area to create a colorful annual backdrop, featuring the unique Passiflora vine, ivy to cover the facade of the church which is over 100 years old and outdoor audio.
Enjoy and let us know what you think!
